At Foreshore Fossils the price you see is the price you pay, it includes VAT, packaging & delivery, when you reach the checkout there is nothing more to add.
Foreshore Fossils operates a professional service, which is run by, and for the benefit of, people with disabilities.
We hand pick every item to ensure its authenticity and its quality, many of these fossils are of museum quality, unparalleled detail & craftsmanship of preservation. If you require a fossil that you cannot see on this site please notify us at email@example.com and Foreshore Fossils will do our very best to find what you are looking for from our reliable suppliers.
By the act of making a purchase from Foreshore Fossils you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out below, including your statutory rights as a consumer. These terms & conditions may be changed from time to time without prior notice. Changes will be dated and will apply immediately to all purchases made following that change.
We endeavour to ensure that the goods you order will be delivered promptly. Our ‘no quibble’ guarantee means that if you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, tell us within 14 days; please return the unwanted items to us in their original condition (within 14 days). We will give you a full refund for the item(s) but we are unable to refund any charge for costs associated with returning the item back to us. We also retain the right to deduct such costs as we deem has reasonably been incurred in the original delivery of the fossil to you and for to cover the cost of any damages to the original packaging. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Exclusion of Liability
Foreshore Fossils gives no warranty as to the quality or accuracy of the information or the medium on which it is provided or its suitability for any use. All implied conditions relating to the quality or suitability of the information, and all liabilities arising from the supply of the information (including any liability arising in negligence) are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Prices, payment and VAT
Prices quoted in printed catalogues and internet pages are liable to change without prior notice; they do include packaging, delivery & Value Added Tax (VAT) charges which may apply. VAT will be charged in accordance with current EU VAT regulations.
Payment can currently be accepted in UK Sterling. Non-Sterling price quotations are calculated on the current exchange rate and will constantly vary depending on the stock exchange movements.
We reserve the right not to supply goods to purchasers who have previously defaulted on payment, or where there is reasonable evidence that a fraudulent credit card payment may be involved. Foreshore Fossils reserves the right to ask for payment in advance for orders to be sourced.
Payments are made via PayPal for your data security, we do not want your bank account details or details of your credit/debit cards, so at Foreshore Fossils we use PayPal to offer our customers added security.
Goods will be despatched normally within seven days of placing your order. If you have not received your purchase within 14 days please contact us immediately.
Lost, Damaged or Incorrectly Supplied Goods
We will take all reasonable steps to replace items damaged in transit or those that have been supplied in error. Where this is not possible, a full refund will be made.
If goods have been incorrectly supplied, you should retain them together with all packaging and documents, and notify Foreshore Fossils immediately. You should do this by letter or email within 7 days of receiving the goods; beyond this period we cannot guarantee that replacements or refunds will be available. Please ensure you quote any Customer Order Numbers and include your full name and address in any communications.
Please do not return any faulty or incorrect goods unless asked to do so. We will give you instructions on how, or whether, to return these items, and may ask you to supply appropriate documents.
We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to ensure that returned goods arrive promptly and undamaged: your postage costs will be refunded.
Cancelling an Order
Within the terms of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2014, you have a 14 day cancellation period, which begins with the day after the date of delivery of the goods to your address and expires 14 days later. You may cancel by letter or email; all of the necessary information (name address, indication of items ordered) must be included to ensure we can give you the correct refund. This refund will be made within 30 days of our receipt of your notification of cancellation once we have received the returned goods, in their original undamaged and unused condition. We recommend that you use a recorded delivery service to ensure that returned goods arrive promptly and undamaged. We will not pay the return postage of a cancelled order.
At Foreshore Fossils we would hope that the vast majority of potential issues are resolved long before they become problems that may impact on a positive relationship with Foreshore fossils. Simply email us and we will deal with the issue promptly and professionally, doing all that is reasonable to reach a resolution for you. We value your custom, your opinion of us and our reputation, so we will try our best for you.
If on the rare occurrence you are not satisfied with our attempts to resolve an issue you retain the right to make a complaint. Your complaint can be sent to us by post or e-mail. In all cases you should aim to provide as much relevant information as possible so that we can deal with your complaint as promptly as possible. Please also include your contact details in case we need to obtain more details from you. All complaints should be clearly marked:

When acknowledging receipt of your complaint, we will give an indication of how long it will take to send you a detailed response. In most cases, we would aim to provide a full response within ten working days. However, this may not always prove possible, especially if we need to obtain further information on the nature of your complaint. In these cases, we will keep you fully informed on the progress of your complaint, and endeavour to provide you with as full a response as possible as soon as we can, with a proposed solution or resolution.
The decision we make to resolve any dispute is always based on the belief that we want our customers to have a positive image of Foreshore Fossils. We want repeat business from our customers and want our customers to recommend us to their friends and family. If you are unhappy with the resolution you still have your statutory rights, which we will respect and abide by.
In the event of a dispute over the description or supply of goods, payment, or ownership, the contract will be deemed to have been made within England and will therefore be subject to the laws of England and Wales.
